Interestingly enough, the oil change interval on my PCX is about 5,000 miles according to the user manual, though I prefer to change it every 3k or so. The transmission repair in this instance is more of a mechanical failure issue, but for most users, they will likely never get to the mileage that requires it to be looked at. I have phoned no less than four Honda PCX 125 Dealerships, spoke to the workshop manager every time and asked them what oil to use in the PCX 125 transmission box and got totally conflicting answers from them, answers ranging from EP90 gear oil to 80W90 manual gear oil to 10W40 engine oil that is currently in the engine.
