Similarly, you can run super low viscosity oil, full synthetic etc. and test that. There is a one bolt in DCT transmission that could cause this issue. To identify it just roll the bike couple meters back and forward, then try to engage the gear. If it works - than it is the bolt. Cost about 3$, but requires disassembling of the clutch. Problem known by owning NC 700 DCT for 6 years before AT. Well, Honda knows this as well.

Honda has issued a recall on model-year 2020 and 2021 Africa Twin motorcycles. The recall states that a problem with the engine control unit and dual-clutch transmission affects close to 1,600 bikes.
