Em6 was completely missing. All over a charging issue that most likely was a cracked joint on em8 as I usually find. Em8 filter was unsalvagable so replaced with one from a parts board. I have yet to see thru hundreds of SP’s an actual charge port that is faulty, once I’ve seen a cracked joint on the charging pin.

Ordered it off Amazon months ago and it’s blue. It’s my childhood GBA SP so I decided to try and mod it with the new screen, battery, and obviously shell. I think it might be an issue with the actual contact of where the charger plugs in. Possible that needs a clean with isopropyl alcohol.

The gameboy advance and the micro had one. The sp never did but there was an adapter made to connect to the charging port I'm pretty sure. No adapter needed, my red SP came with headphones that plug into the charging port. I had that adapter and it was kind hard to come by as an accessory.

A friend of mine recently wanted to get back into his gba sp that he’d found and finally ordered himself a charger. As soon as he went to charge it he saw that the charger port was half gone and the pins were missing!

This was the DS Charger Adapter kit to allow you to charge either a OG DS or a DS lite. (GBA SP shares the same charging port as the OD DS.) Have not seen one of these in a while.

I have a GBA SP AGS 001 that is having difficulty charging consistently. Essentially what is happening is that my SP will briefly charge for a few minutes with the orange light on, before turning off after about ~5 minutes. Sometimes it stops within the first 30 seconds.
